This is an AMAZING broswer-extension, and I hope Distill never stops working. You can install it FREE here on Google Chrome, and also on Edge, Firefox, etc. It's better than FluxGuard, VisualPing, and WebAlert combined. As of early August 2024 they let you monitor up to 25 websites for free, of any changes that are made to them, and you can set the maximum "frequency alert rate" at 26 days. Hallelujiah!

It's a great tool for a browser if you don't have to deal with dropdown menus that demand macros and other stuff to show any new results. It's a shame you really have to pay for a basic function like "Macros" and other stuff, like I know the developers really need money to survive in this capitalist word, however, this make Distill Web Monitor only available and really useful in situations like this one: when, for example, you like to watch the changes of a static page (and nothing else besides this). If you need to do something more advanced, get ready to pay a few dollars. And i'm not even american, at least they could make it affordable worldwide.

Wow! What a great extension! Monitoring page updates has never been so useful. Thank you for such a great development!

It's very easy to set up. I wish the free plan can support more than 25 monitors if I am using my own resources.

Doesn't work. Selects its own elements when trying to stop selecting page elements leading to a hung page requiring a page refresh (where you're once again stuck recording all clicks on elements…). This is when the Developer Tools panel is open.

its workable but like any other tool it fails miserably when any kind of captcha is present on a website. does not even have a ability to alert user that captcha showed up... there are hundreds tools that do same thing and all have problem with captcha at least other monitor have an option to alert you that captcha is blocking content from loading this one does not it just stop working...

I could not make it work for me...

Worked exactly as intended. I wanted to check if a link to sign up to an event had been updated, and had already spent 4 hours sporadically clicking the link without success, since each time new dates were released they were booked up within a minute. It was fairly easy to set up Distill to monitor the page I wanted, and I got Distill to check automatically every 10 seconds, which is possible even on the free version - you need to make sure you're logged in and then go on the page desired, and then click the extension (it took me a few tries but it worked in the end!). Within 30 minutes of downloading the Distill extension, I received a popup notification with a sound on my laptop, and an email saying the page had changed. This meant I could sign up to the event in seconds. Amazing.

Had a prior web page search program that relied on ITFFF to send me an email notification but ITFFF doesn't seem to support that search program any longer. Distill Web Monitor has a built in email notification capability along with others. I checked out the email alert and it worked great. It also incorporates REGEX for extracting numbers from selected fields that have other non numeric characters. Support is first class in that I got a solution to an issue had within 24 hours.
